Q: Are sessions covered by my benefits?

A: Many benefits plans will cover sessions provided by a Registered Social Worker. Regarding your specific plan, you may want to inquire to your provider if sessions provided by an M.S.W. (Master of Social Work) and/or R.S.W. (Registered Social Worker) are covered. If necessary, I am happy to provide you with my specific qualifcations and registration number for you to submit to your benefits company prior to beginning our sessions.

 

Q: Will you submit the receipt to my benefits?

A: Benefit claims are not processed in-house. Following each session, a receipt will be provided to you for you to submit to your benefit company.

 

Q: How does payment work?

A: Payment is due prior to the session. Payments can be made via e-transfer, or by an alternative method agreed upon by between you and your counsellor.

 

Q: How much are sessions?

A: Sessions are available in 30, 50 or 80 minute intervals. No HST is charged.

30 minute sessions - $80

50 minute sessions - $140

80 minute sessions - $180

 

Q: Does HopeWell offer faith-integrated counselling?

A: Yes, HopeWell does offer faith-integrated counselling services to those who are seeking this type of support. All counselling services are based in psychotherapeutic approaches, however HopeWell believes that an individual's faith can certainly be leaned upon and integrated into one's counselling journey.
